Mr. Grandhi holds a Juris Doctor (Law) degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and an MBA degree from Cornell University. He served as the Executive Business Editor and the Executive Technology Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in computer science from Cleveland State University.
Mr. Grandhi is active in the cultural and legal communities in the U.S. and in India. He was appointed to Governor John Kasich’s Ohio Asian American Pacific Islander Advisory Council, where he served as Chair of the Technology Advisory Committee. He served as a board member of the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio, and president-elect and board member of the South Asian Bar Association of Ohio. He is a life member of the AP High Court Advocates Association.
Mr. Grandhi specializes in registration, protection and exploitation of Intellectual Property rights, including commercialization of IP assets, cross-border transactions, IP acquisitions, Patent valuations, IP licensing, and domain name disputes. He guides the litigation team at Prometheus IP.
He works with a wide-variety of clients (from startups to Fortune 50 companies) on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to IP, general corporate and commercial matters. He focuses on the software, media, pharma and medical devices industry.
