A summit relating to aspects on Data Privacy was held at the US Chamber of Commerce, Washington D.C. The summit was titled “#DATA DONE RIGHT”. The summit was represented by our US operations Head Ms. Soujanya Sikha. She extensively interacted with the speakers and attendees on issues relating to data privacy. As the title suggests the summit’s focus was on the pros and cons of procuring and eventually sharing the procured data.

A Customer Partnership Meeting (CPM) is an effort by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to build communication channels between external stake holders and USPTO representatives in a common platform. The CPM held on 08 May, 2019 was related to Global Biotechnology/ Chemical and Pharmaceuticals [Technology Centre (TC) 1600].

Prometheus made its presence felt at the conference on “Artificial Intelligence- Intellectual property policy considerations” organised by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) at its headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. The conference was attended by our US Operations Head Ms Soujanya Sikha.

Dr. Poornima represented Prometheus IP services at a workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights Management” held at the Directorate of Poultry Research on 18 February, 2019. The invited lecture focused on “Trademark and GI” with particular reference to animal/poultry case studies.

Dr. Usharani and Dr. Poornima represented Prometheus IP services at a workshop on patent strategies for Europe held in Hyderabad on 16 Jan 2019. The workshop aimed at Pharma and Biotech sectors was conducted by Boehmert & Boehmert, an IP law firm from Germany.

Prometheus Patent Services Pvt Ltd made its presence felt at the Invention-Con 2018 held on August 17th and 18th at the USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Va. The agenda involved topics of interest to inventors and entrepreneurs. The speakers shared their experiences of bringing their ideas to the market.

The meeting was conducted by TC 2600, the technology Center for providing examination for patent applications including Communications.

Prometheus Patent Services was pleased to be one of the domestic partners of the International IP Skills Summit, 2018 that was held on June 27-28 at Hotel Marriott, Hyderabad. The two-day summit saw participation from representatives across different patent offices viz. India, Singapore, EPO, ARIPO; IP counsels and IPR Heads from multinational conglomerates viz. WIPRO, IBM, TATA, Samsung, GE and Pharma giants viz. Biocon, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Sun Pharma, Mylan Labs, Amneal Pharma; Universities; IP firms from across the world and other stakeholders.
