He has responsibility for the trademark and designs portfolios of several large multinationals across a wide range of industries. His profile includes preparing and filing applications for registration of trademarks, designs and copyrights, drafting and filing responses to office actions, drafting and filing affidavits of use. He also attends hearings at the Trademark Office, Designs Office and the Copyright Office.

He has been actively involved in enforcement actions such as sending Legal Notices (Cease and Desist – cum – Demand letters), conducting on-site investigations, registering marks and copyrighted work with custom authorities to prevent import of infringing/pirated products, conducting negotiations, sending notices to ISPs (Internet Service Providers), conducting raids and taking suitable steps at various fora such as the Trademarks Office, Copyright Board, the IPAB (Intellectual Property Appellate Board), NIXI (National Internet Exchange of India), and the CAT (Cyber Appellate Tribunal). He drafts and reviews notices of opposition, counter statements to notices of opposition, affidavits of evidence etc.
